Okefenokee Wildlife League is the official 501c3 non-profit that supports the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. The Okefenokee Wildlife League (OWL) was established in 1990 with the mission of supporting environmental education and interpretation at the refuge. In 2018, the OWL became publicly known as Friends of Okefenokee.

The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge is a popular tourist destination and welcomes visitors from all 50 states and 30 countries each year!
